Michael C. Bruce
Computer Technician
Mike came to Taos in 1980 with his parents, Thomas and Adelaide Bruce. Mike has roots in Taos, from St. Francis to THS, he is a true Taoseño. He has always been the type to carry a screwdriver in his pocket, prepared to take apart anything electronic to make it work better. Mike has the ability to quickly seize and conquer any technical difficulties your electronic device may encounter.
Mike came back to Taos in 1997 after studying Computer Science at New Mexico State University to start his first computer service business known as 'The Computer Dude'. When computer work took a dive in 2000 because of the "Y2K bug", Mike worked as a plumber for several years, but he is glad to be back doing what he does best!
His technical expertise expands far beyond your normal computer geek, but as a guitar musician and a technology enthusiast, Mike has become an expert at audio/ video recording and editing. When he's not fixing a computer, you might see him running up a mountain, or helping out in his parents' beautiful garden.
